I stand corrected.
We went to the movies last night, and saw Oceans 12. I was absolutely adamant that I was never, ever, not-in-a-million years going to see it, because of the whole ‘12 is the new 11’ catchphrase they use. Every time I hear that, it induces an uncontrollable bout of eye-rolling. But my husband really wanted to see it, so I gave in. Obviously I wasn’t that adamant, then. I was kinda adamant, but open to convincing.Anyway, I guess I liked it. It did seem to go on for a very long time, but other than that, it was pretty alright. I liked the part where Tess “pretends” to be Julia Roberts, and the guys are giving her background information on Julia so she can “play the part”… (She has five dogs, her middle name is…) That was funny. And she was all giddy around Bruce Willis, whom she was supposed to be good friends with. Hilarity ensued. Believe me. So, my wonderful husband, you were right. I was wrong.
OK, here’s the plan. Tonight I go to sleep. Tomorrow I wake up and come to work, then go home and sleep. On Friday I wake up after a long sleep-in, then cook Christmas food, exchange stockings with my husband when he comes home from work, go to church, then go home and sleep. Then on Christmas morning I wake up at 5:30, exchange presents with hubby, we go to my mum’s house at 7:30 for presents and breakfast, go to my step-grandma’s house for lunch, then my uncle and aunty’s house for dinner and swimming in their pool. Yay! See how it all works out? I love planning.
